A Connecticut Remembrance.

A Flame Of Remembrance: Hearts Never Extinguished
A Flame Of Remembrance: Hearts Never Extinguished

“There is no despair so absolute as that which comes with the first moments of our first great sorrow, when we have not yet known what it is to have suffered and be healed, to have despaired and have recovered hope.” – George Eliot

As with all of you, my heart continually aches for those innocent lives lost in Connecticut. Days have passed since the incident yet its impact will not fade or be forgotten by any of us. It is constantly on my mind. Learning that a close friend of my sister’s, a personal acquaintance of mine, lost his beautiful 6 year old niece in this tragedy brings it closer to the heart. Having my own children brings home the magnitude of this horror as a parent and the strong need arises to hold my children with an even tighter embrace…

Every day is a gift. Each day is our masterpiece because today is our life.

Prayers of peace and hope for those left behind…
