As I turn a “New Year” and this blog arrives at 2 years since it’s inception, I am truly thrilled to create and share with the goal of providing inspiration and appreciation. From 19,000 views in 2012 to 46,000 views in 2013, the “world-wide-web” is truly amazing. Of course, one cannot resist to reflect on the past and evaluate the present…
As life evolves and responsibilities grow with that evolution an assessment of time commitments is required. Life continually shifts. Mies van der rohe’s iconic quote,“Less is More”, rings in the New Year for me once again. Yet this time it is not just about editing, regrouping and organizing for a “fresh start”, but rethinking the levels of commitment of time. “Time is of the essence”, for certain. The results of my ponderings have brought me to consider lessening my “posts” that I release into the internet world and to the view of those that follow along. Perhaps instead of two scheduled posts per week, one compilation with the intent to inspire shall present itself to the “world-wide-web”. For certain, the enjoyment of presenting a “post” has never wavered and the desire to produce compilations and words that may inspire will remain a part of the future of this “lifestyle blog”. It is my hope that the posts in the New Year will continue to provide inspirations for you to ponder. Life is beautiful and every day is a gift.
In acknowledging the 300 that follow House Appeal I offer my thanks for providing further inspiration to me. Thank you, each one of you, for finding something of value from this journey of written words paired with visual appreciation that brought the desire to follow along.
