While my culinary skills are lacking, I do love to set a lovely table, and I finally came to focus on the fact that in every restaurant I went to, plates were always white. I finally made the move and got rid of my outdated blue sponge ware and now have a beautiful pallet of white dish ware that, as you say, works all year round with any other color or colors used as accents.
