Another milestone. Another hundred followers since January of this year. Delighted. I am honored to provide inspiration and thrilled that there are those within the great wide world of the web, near and far, that find interest within my posts of appreciation and acknowledgement to what surrounds.
Appreciation is termed as “the recognition and enjoyment of the good qualities of someone or something”. Why not focus on the appreciation of the beautiful things in life? Dig deeper into appreciating the history, importance, timelessness and beauty of those things that surround? Appreciation. My goal with this blog has always been to seek the history behind what I am presenting to provide insights that bring new or renewed appreciation. With the intent to bring those that stumble upon or follow my blog towards appreciation and perhaps to consider something that one had not ever dwelled upon before, it is my hope that mere appreciation results. Pause and contemplate. Life speeds along swiftly. Pause and appreciate. Seeking to appreciate the beautiful things in life is certainly an admirable goal. As it has been stated, “What you focus on expands”. I strongly agree and I choose to focus with rose colored glasses on the beauty that surrounds. Details that can inspire. Aspects of life that should not be taken for granted. Again, appreciation. Every day is a gift. Alas, this blog has been a personal gift to me.
